Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Widgio, available at widgio.app (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

Widgio ("Widgio", "we", "us", or "our") is a software service that lets you create customizable embeddable widgets for Notion, websites, and other pages. The Service is operated by Gandhi Polymers (proprietor: Ankita Bhandiya), based in India. You can reach us at support@widgio.app.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.

3. The Service

Widgio lets you configure widgets in our builder and embed them elsewhere via a shareable link or iframe. We offer a free tier and paid "Pro" and "Creator" plans that unlock additional widgets and features. We may add, change, or remove widgets and features over time.

4. Plans, billing & payments

Paid plans are billed in US dollars on a monthly, yearly, or one-time (lifetime) basis as shown on our Pricing page.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and will retain Pro access until the end of your current paid period. Lifetime purchases are a single payment and do not renew. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of any text, images, links, or other content you put into your widgets ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to use Your Content and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or break the law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• break any law or infringe intellectual property or privacy rights;
• publish unlawful, hateful, harassing, deceptive, or adult/explicit content;
• distribute malware, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or circumvent usage limits or paywalls;
• resell or redistribute the Service except as expressly permitted (e.g. the Creator plan's white-label terms).

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and widget templates, is owned by Widgio and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service per these Terms. The "Widgio" name and logo may not be used without our permission.

8. Third-party services & content

Some widgets use third-party data or media — for example background images from Unsplash and quotations from public quote sources. Such content is provided by the respective third parties under their own terms, and we are not responsible for it. The Service also relies on third-party infrastructure (hosting and payment providers) described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Availability & "as is"

We work hard to keep Widgio reliable but the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any widget will always be available.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Widgio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm us, other users, or third parties. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. intellectual property, limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
